In It To Win It [The Sociopath's Script 1] by Michael Pibo

Keep your friends close and your enemies closer still, they say. Many are familiar with the old saying but they don’t truly understand it. It makes sense. Having friends is a good thing. Having dependable friends is a great thing!

Nevertheless, situations occur in life where you are pushed to a corner. Most people in the world have experienced it one way or another. What if you encounter the rare cases where you meet people of an extreme and demented nature; people beyond the ordinary? And you can’t tell your friends from your enemies; or worse off yet, you can’t tell your enemies from your friends.....

Darius Hart took another sip, burped out loud and carried on, “So… hearing that, do you still want to buy me a drink? Bear in mind that a man who the navy considers to be too extreme might not be suitable to your needs, woman.”
Having had a couple of drinks, she was now even more curious and drawn to him than she was alarmed. She courageously blurted, “You seem to be trying to push me away but let's just say, i'm intruiged by your sense of consistency. Besides, I believe your stories are more interesting than
scary. So why don’t you tell me more over breakfast in bed tomorrow morning?" she leaned in closer to whisper to him, "Let’s make this a night to remember…” She pulled back then licked her lips as she ogled his well-structured physique, "First, I’m Maggie… and you are?” She said as she extended out a hand to him.
Seeing that his efforts at repelling her had borne nothing but futility, Darius reached out and took her hand in his, “I'm er… I'm Bored! James Bored!”
