Yu Jihui is a former university professor who taught English for more than twenty years in China. Born in the Qingdao Shandong province, he traveled extensively with his family when he was young. In 2001, he migrated to Australia and now he lives in Melbourne. He has written a novel, the Gunners of Shenyang, published by Signal 8 Press, an American publisher in Hong Kong.
